Catholic Charities offers assistance to those living with HIV/AIDS to access and coordinate needed medical, financial, psychosocial, mental health, substance abuse treatment and other needed services. Referrals by providers or self-referrals may be made to the Albany office for residents of Albany, Rensselaer, Columbia and Greene Counties.

This SUNY Albany program provides telephone hotline and online peer assistance, peer education and peer career advisement services to assist students in meeting their educational goals and in coping with emotional, social and other life issues that they face. The hotline is open from noon to midnight Monday through Thursday and 24 hours a day on Friday through Sunday.

Alliance for Positive Health
The Alliance for Positive Health provides a continuum of direct services to people living with HIV/AIDS and their family members. We also offer care management to people with other chronic illnesses who are enrolled in Medicaid as well as prevention programs that offer effective, innovative solutions that make a significant impact on reducing new HIV infections.
