Education & Support Groups
The Alliance for Positive Health offers a diverse selection of education and support groups. Enrollment is free and group discussions remain confidential.
Client Advisory Board: A virtual forum in which previous and current clients share their experiences, perspectives, and provide vital feedback on the Alliance for Positive Health's services.
HIV & Aging: A support group for HIV+ individuals who are 45 or older.
HIV Health Education: A weekly education group covering health topics for those who are HIV+.
Making HERstory: A weekly support group for women covering topics such as motherhood, safe space, trauma & coping, family support, and more.
Men of Experience: A monthly support group exclusively for men of color.
MSM Health Education: A health education group for men who have sex with men.
Nutrition Education: An education group through our Food4Life program for people living with HIV/AIDS.
SELF: A support group for women that explores Safety, Emotion, Loss, & Future.
**In adherence to New York State health guidelines, all groups are currently meeting virtually.**

Alliance for Positive Health
The Alliance for Positive Health provides a continuum of direct services to people living with HIV/AIDS and their family members. We also offer care management to people with other chronic illnesses who are enrolled in Medicaid as well as prevention programs that offer effective, innovative solutions that make a significant impact on reducing new HIV infections.
